IMPORTANT: Do not plug in the Topaz Electronic Signature Pad before following these steps.

• Download the Topaz SigPlus software for use with your Topaz signature pad to your computer's desktop. Right-click on the 'Download SigPlus' icon displayed here, select 'Save Link As', and choose the desktop as the save location to begin the download.

If you buy software from a third-party (e.g. Software to manage a dental practice, software to manage a reception desk, software to manage job-sheets and work-cards for field-workers etc.) the software developers may well have integrated the Topaz signature capture features within the software.

Installing the Topaz Electronic Signature Pad

Download Topaz Signature Pad Driver

1. To download Topaz drivers click here.
2. If prompted, click Save to save the file. Once the file has finished downloading, open the file.
3. Click Extract all files, check the Show extracted files when complete checkbox, and then click Extract. A window will pop up showing the extracted files once complete.
4. Double click 'sigplus.exe' to begin the installation. If a Security Warning window appears, click Run.
5. From the 'Welcome' screen, click Next.
6. From the 'Read Me File' screen, click Next.
7. From the 'Choose Destination Location' screen, click Next.
8. Click the applicable signature pad model, and then click OK.If the model isn't known, it can be found on the bottom of the signature pad.
9. Select the Tablet Model
10. Click the applicable connection type and then click OK.
    1. If your Topaz Signature Pad connects to your computer via a USB connection, select HSB (USB type).
11. Review the license agreement and then click Agree.
12. Select OK to configure.
13. When the Demo.ocx or Adobe.ocx screen appears, click NO and then click OK.
14. When the SigPlus Documentation Directory dialog appears, click OK.
15. When the ~Sigplus Plug-Ins, Tools, and Examples dialog appears, click OK.
16. When the installation is complete, click Finish.
17. Now Plug in the Topaz Signature Pad, and Windows installs the necessary drivers.
18. Test capture signature within the program. Easiest location: Database> Paid Preparer.
